DIm Sum ?? mende tuh?

Thats was my questions (dulu dulu ) when i heard chinese fren were telling they are going to eat... in my mind was thinkig own makanan org cine la tu..mane leh mkn..heheh (typical me)..one day i was designated to complete my internship in one of Hotel in KL - Quality Hotel to be exact & they do serve Dim Sum & its halal!!!

i did tried one but i don like it...haha...maybe knowing me never eat others then i have eaten so i tried (buat buat try) & just had a bite n thats it......

Well time pass by...1 day mama ajak makan kat carefour...& she suddenly wanna try out the Dim SUm at JOM BALI restaurant. Me showing my muka ketat not liking the idea but came along following her butt since he wanted to eat. So i tried one...the prawn Dim sum ...it was nice. well to tell u the truth i think i taste the prawn more...so i didnt have the different taste.. mkan cicah wit the cili sos & soy source make it more umph...anyhow....im not saying im love with the dim sum but at least i don have to make my muka ketat whenever i saw it....

If i feel to have it , i will ask dear to bring us to Uptown hawkers & it is there....or kalau nk up sikit..u may go to JOM BALI restaurant ..more or less the taste quite d same to me....

3. grind semua bahan guna grinder atau blender.
4. campurkan skali air steam broccoli + carrot tadi... sikit je

We can always experiment with baby foods...as long as its healthy & in good combination....

pasta wiv white sauce

Owh ramai yg tanye camne nk masak ni..since i luv posting bout what i cook for adelya........so here were go...the recipe was taken from group semi solid in FB....but i have to modified here n there to adapt with what adelya can take at her current age

pasta dgn white sauce (pasta dgn sos putih) for 8 month & above


bahan sos:
# 2 sudu besar butter (minyak sayuran pun bole)  - i used unsalted butter 2 cube
# 1/2 biji bawang besar (dicincang halus utk tekstur) - Used Holland onion..chopped small
# 1 sudu besar tepung gandum -
# 1/2 sudu kecil daun parsli kering (herb lain pun boleh) -  xde ni kat umah so put bit of oregano...to make it smell nice
# 1 cawan susu segar (or more if nk lebih cair) - Since adelya since below 1Y...i used her FM on this....can also use BM but wait until everything cook then baru letak)
# Secubit lada hitam - I omit this...baby x mkn lagi..

U can also add on more ingredients to make it tasty& colorful

minced chicken
 

How to?
1. panaskan butter/minyak. goreng bwg hingga layu.
2. masukkan tepung gandum dan kacau hingga tepung melekat di bawang.
3. masukkan bahan2 lain sambil kacau2, hingga didih. tutup api.

Hari hari lalu depan kedai but selalu x bukak owh yes coz the op hour is at 10am da...so 1 fined day....PIL & my sistas were at home & deari have no idea where to take them out for lunch..so i was suggesting this place...selalu tgk diorang ni sponsor TV3 so we decided to try out...some said these stall belongs to ex tv3 staff or was it a Majalah 3 reporter (sorry if wrong info) ...located along the road in Kayu Ara it was a strategic view for people to notice...even operating in a small stall  & wirtten as take away.....they also provide dine in (with a few table in case you are away from home & decided to eat freshly) .....

Serving their best delicious expertise menu , nasi ambang is a full meal...either to choose normal nasi ambang or special (with extra sambal  & su un (camne nk eja ni??) ....mkn satu should be enough...sbb for me i will feel muak for the second time =) or maybe full la.......but to have it next time is for sure......despite of  Nasi Ambang as their specialties....you could also order other menu such as lontong darat, nasi carrot, air katira.....but if not mistaken some menu only available during weeken....

So to order, you may drop them a call to secure your nasi ambang before they are out of stock...i think they have some quantity they prepared per day..go n grab while stock last...

Broga Hills

Ok fined me for not updating the blog…..sadly my passion on blogging have faded since workload is getting higher like mount Everest past few month…but luck is on my side…(keje dah kurang siket…..) so can update few post….

Ok this time nk story bout this hills.To be more specific...BROGA Hills ....Went there with my dearies....Wawa & fyr dear....it was past 2years i guess...back before we were married & have baby adelya...kuikuik (see how long was it??) I was always wanted to see & measure my skills on climbing....bekas atlit kan katenye....my target was mount kinabalu..but i know i could be a dream for now....After seeing Wawa photos climbing the Broga...i was excited to tell dear that i wanna go there...**date & time set..here we go..

Wawa said..be there before 7pm if u wish to see sun rise....ok la lambat jugak sampai coz its a long journey for us from wangsa maju....then meet wawa at half of the way....sampai sampai sana..tgk dh byk kerete parking...ramai nye manusia......so starting the journey off to the top...(since dah ade cahaya matahari..-yes x sempat nk tgk sun rise pon) so xyah la nk pakai lampu suluh bagai.......for normal person..it will take 45 mins to reach at first hill...n we took almost 1 hour i think-or more???...hahha....dont blame us..it was not because of the fitness but we stop to take photos...lalala......the most challenging part was to climb up the hills...n it was like a 70-80 degree up& with the speed of wind...fuyooooo...mmg mencabar.... tp dlm penat2 tu sempat g snap few photos...hahaha....& reached at the top.....it was a breathtaking view....cantiknye....& the wind is soo hard...lepaking there was awesone..sambil mkn..eh sempat berkelah tau...n few group with guitar...(see bwk guitar lagi) ....sambil lepak sambil dgr lagu...owh heaven

I believe Broga hill has become a high trending to all climbers (or non like me....) ..even Dr SMS pre wedd shoot was taken there....gile kene fit nak naik hills then looking good to take photos......the numbers of people climbing were as many as people in the mall..heheh...(ok ayat propa) but ramai la...some said...penah gak traffic jam kat atas nun.....so if u havent try it..go for life time experience sebb nk naik mount KK if agak impossible coz nk kn buat fitness training bagai...ni Broga jek...xyah excersise xpe kot...hehe....nah tgk ler pix tuh.....

Ghulam Mee

Hey food lurvers....if u r staying in kota damansara please dont pretend that u have no idea where d heck dis place is...hahah....saje ayat gempak....well kami baru pindah so kami tau la....yippie......if in penang there have such place called Gurney drive...we have it here in Damansara....a food heaven where u can get most everything from northen side....operating from 2 big corner shop lot they provide a lot of food from different stalls....from rojak penang , mee rebus, mee mamak, nasi ayam, sup, bihun sup , nasi lemak n u name it..they have it here. i got to taste few of their expertise which is Mee Rebus.....another expertise which i recently tried is their Mee Ghulam....a delicate & tasty mee mamak with kuah kacang on top adding a delicious taste of the mee....(pergh....) Drinks? u name it...from teh tarik to cendol, they have it all here....i luv their apple asam boi....Price? well i know it sound cheesy but we think that place quite pricy since its only operating like a stall...or perhaps they follow penang price which is mostly for tourist? hehehe....well for those who have yet to visit. , you could come n taste the delicious foods feel the environment of Gurney drive.....x boleh dtg selalu la..nanti kopak beg duit mak jemah..kuikui...as for us....when the craving came....we'll start d engine n drop by for another round of mee Ghulam.......

Makan lagi?? hehe ...since duduk KD ni keje nye pegi mkn lewat malam aje....bile nk kurus? this should directed to dear hubby...i kurus lagi...***tgn dibahu mata keatas....kuang kuang


So last nite we went out for late suppppper again.....hajat di hati to try Bawal Power western food....but unfortunately they close super fast..damn....so melelong looking for restaurant in Damansara & hubby thought of 1 restaurant near his office...Hayaki Kopitiam owned by a Kelantanese businessman...

its a 24 hour kopitiam so the traffic were quite congested with people who are feeling hungry at nite. Environment was ok .......we ordered Oriental Chicken Cho + Pulut Manggo + ice lemon tee.....it cost us RM 23++ ....well same as other kopitiam..the price a bit pricy looking at we r only est for 2...& the services were bad too....we called the waiter a few time & none of them came to our table...one girl busy SMSing....haih....well perhaps they were shorthanded with the big crowd ...Well if you would like to try out the food , do come and visit them...few branches located at Platinum Walk, Setapak, Uptown Damansara & more in Kota Bharu.

Since we have moved in to Kota Damansara...theres a lot of places to eat wooo......So we went to Selera Central to try Bawal Power.....Owned by 2 fren ..one of it is BOB kuman a comedian who recently join Maharaja Lawak Mega with group name as BP

Sempoi sgt makan kat sini....few menu set offered here such as Bawal set, keli set, squid set, ayam set etc,......for bakar type they have pari- pari bakar...(ikn pari la) sotong, keli n so on.....Dear ordered Bawal power set cost RM10....served with white rice ...(letak kicap sikit atas nasi) n came along with ulam, sambal belacan, kuah kicap cili & kuah gulai....mmg terbaek....the fish were deep fried right away from the fridge to hot oil.....goreng garing-garing..... It's such a simple dish but it's something we can eat any time any day! kan? as for me, i choose Pari bakar set(dgn pari mmg xleh lawan wo) came with nasi , kicap cili. sambal belacan, ulam & kuah masak lomak......same price RM 10. Makan sambil lap air mate sebab tergigit chili kicap tu but still cont
inue mkn sbb sedap sgt...huh.....

If you like western food, they also have it here, or nak makanan yg paneh paneh pon ade (panas panas like nasi goreng ke, mee goreng ke )....just ordered.....The price range from RM 6 to RM20.....Would luv to come to try their western food after this...

Cuci d Musial *last Kopek

Theater anyone? .....hehe....been watching for a few times & still luving it..my first theater was Puteri Gunung Ledang 1.... free tix from a fren/college mate who was back then a TV3 intern...he got 2 tix & i went with Pu3....it was amazing to watch live performance from talented actors...its amazing to see them acting live in front of audience.....i salute them for their braveness & talent.....

A lot ive missed due to business & ticket sold out fast.....but managed to watched a few like PGL 1 &3, Mak Dara, Terima Kasih Cinta, aiyoo x ingat suda...haha....

Bora Asmara

Hubby turn 27th on March 4, ....& i decided to take him out for dinner..since we have moved to Kota Damansara, i guess i would try Bora Asmara.....bukan Bora Ombak in Ampang tau.....

Masuk masuk we were greet by luvly n frendly waiter.....brought to our table....the place was bit dark la...well perhaps they want to embrace the romantic moment i guess.....then the waiter explain which menu is the latest ....she recommended drink name Asmaradana & Kuntilanak adui la name...we choose Asmaradana...drink with mix of Lychee + Red syrup + Whipp cream...yummeh...i can take anything wiv whipp cream tho.....heheh


If you like the Reminiscence of Bali..this place suit for you....i had chicken grilled with BBQ sauce & herb rice....n Abah adelya choose fish n chip...while makan...we were entertain by 4 pieces of live band....they went from table to table....when came to our turn we requested Words song...its hubs fav song...then the manager came with cakes & they sing birthday song .....kudos....!!!


With ambiance & romantic scene it is a gud place to dine in or celebrating special day with ur luv one....their service was gud & the price was reasonable....It was less then 100 ringgit for the dinner....

You may place a reservation if you would like to dine to the place for better sitting. May choose to be in aircond, cafe, or their luvly gazebo area

Little White Cafe Bangi

Ritu Pegi wedding one off my college/house mate time study at Kuantan dulu...Sara & OD.....Went there with little Adelya since abah is traveling to Beijing...then after the wedd made a date with bestie Wawa n adik kesayangan we uols..si Nana gebu.....We went to this Little White Cafe...located at Bandar Baru Bangi...

From outside pon tgk cam cantik dah d place...at the time we went, the cafe was decorated with winter theme...feels like entering over d seas punye cafe lak kan...anyhow...so many food to be chosen but since we had our lunch at the wed reception....we decided to have lite high tea...at their chiller....tersusun indah la a few cakes & macarons....yummeh...i ordered red velvet..for sure!! Wa took mushroom soup with garlic butter bread.....then si Nana Gebu ordered pancakes...owh sedap nyer la tgk pancakes tuh.....we had our chit chatting for almost few hours...time flies fast when girls wanna have fun la...hehe......

Well you can have your birthday, dinner or gathering here ..with cozy ambiance its such a good way to spend quality time with ur luv one here......see ya next time for sure.

The Humble Chef

Nak makan sedap dan Murah? aha this might suit those peeps dat suddenly looking for something cheap yet tasty but in cheap (th tgh bulan camtu la kan) ....anyway one fren has suggested this place .....located away in the corner of Pusat Bandar Damansara, along the street next to the McDonald's . They only opens from Monday to Saturday from 9:30pm till 12:30am. Diorang ckp the owner open up this concept to help student who are staying nearby with cheap foods....btw the owner is very friendly....talking to thers like they have known each other for a long time.....operating inside a small van they offered some very on demands foods such as...spaghetti (carbonara, bolognese , olio etc) & its only cost you 5 ringgit . Those lady on diet perhaps can try their delicious sandwiches like chicken Pita (RM 4) (ala macam kebab je).....drinks? just take from the ice box ...u can have different taste of sweet drinks there. ..=)


We went there on weekdays so not so many people, with the site of view on the top of the bridge , boleh la tengok tengok kereta lalu bawah tuh....here are some pix taken ...sorry bout the quality,,,taken from hubby phone only...i left my Samsung at home...
