The Gardens @ One Utama

Went to Gardens last 2 weeks during lunch time…..actually, my interest to dine in to this place was long2 time a go. But I guess theres always something to block the way…but anyhow…managed to go there with colleagues for lunch…..d’ environment is gorgeous for sure…very calm with white-green background...it is so peaceful….n since they r having lunch promotion, y not we try kan….despite of the gorgeous place I did heard some rumors bout the restaurant slowness….n hoping that I will not encounter any of that bad x-perience…..so we start ordering…here come a bangla waiter to serve us..(I donno y must they have this people to work here…,wheres Malaysian people la weyh??.....ordered….have a little chit chat…then tummy starting grumpy and looking at the time…it was almost 30mins….WUT??? owh my..so the rumors were definitely true….(lunch kotlapar seyh) so the food came in…well I must say they might took long time to serve the foods for the nice deco on the plate…the foods were ‘so so’ only….nothing special pon…luckily its cover up with nice deco and the environment….i guess this place is more for couple where they can enjoy being lovey dovey without thinking much of the foods…

Jemari @ Kelana Jaya

went to this restaurant with fellow colleagues Ili & Kak Lin….well actually we were from a warehouse sale somewhere in PJ…after feeling frustrated with the sales (nothing much and bought nothing there) tummy was feeling uncomfortable as we just realized that we have not had our lunch yet…so ili brought us to a place call Jemari restaurant…it is very near to Kastam office and Tabung Haji…We had set lunch for 3….meal included Tomyam, Ikan kembung masak 3 rasa, Daging masak merah and 1 new meal I had was kerabu Meehon….I must say the place was nice and very comfort…they have a bunch of book for guest to read...but i think they should have change or throw the old books ...(well most of the book were like last year ....should have updated it with current book....baru rase updated sikit kan....anyhow...good place to try with affordable price.....

Hatyai Trip

My Hatyai trip last year Feb with family....it was a sudden plan when mom decided to bring some of her frens for a trip....so kami pon follow jek la....well nothing much to say...the place looks like golok jek..haha...but as usual its shopping heaven for kaum hawa....first day reached, check in hotel & go straight to Pasar...like other place, the pasar more like our Chow kit road in KL..a lot of stuff to choose....same like Pasar Bent Thant in Vietnam jugak.....but the price is much more cheaper i think........(sebab x pakai duit sendiri pon) hehe.....any how after went to Pasar, went back to hotel for refreshing....since we are to tired from the long journey..we decided to have rest first at hotel & went out in the evening....

That evening, we went to look something to eat...& come across 1 local bazaar....its different from the Pasar coz they are selling handy craft....Bought fer stuff there including my bedazzling flip flop....,,Later at night papa decided to go to floating market...journey took around 20mins from hotel & taking 'tut tut' is no fun....(no air cond & dust will flying over to ur face...argh).....so here we are at the floating market....wut is floating market? well its more like people selling foods atas small sampan....since we donno if it halal or not we just taste a few foods like jagung bakar & keropok..(well knowing us who doesnt take other foods beside our normal foods...hahah)....1 thing interested when i saw 1 shop with a lot of fried insect...it recall me to fear factor show.....imagine me eating crickets & grasshopper ...hahah.....ok i shall not stuck it on my head now..(nanti xleh makan).......but local people there eat it like no body business......xpe la janji kau kenyang kan.....so after making a tour....we decided to go back....most of stuff were almost the same actually so just cuci mate je la)

day 2
Songkhla beach
Despite me not liking the beach.. =)..x suke lekit2....but just followed them since dah ade kat sini kan ..went to Songkhla Beach....hearing rumors bout the old story behind it where married people will go here & wishing for fertility....ye kah? ya entah..but thats the story behind it..so sesape nk anak p la sini....heheh...got the mermaid small statue to bring back home as souvenir...

After the beach we went straight for lunch....the halal restaurant is really making money from us...imagine roti canai coz u RM4?? gile x? ish ish...cam hotel but it was only a restaurant..but since no else to eat we just dig in to the place....then mum decided to window shopping within the area (window la sgt) till late evening......

So overall, the trip was fun (despite having back pain due to long hour journey.. & since i have never been to the place kan....& dpt gak tambah cop country dlm passport........wee =)

Vietnam

Welcome to Vietnam......No word can describe & only pix can tell....haha....(ayat org malas nk memikir sebenarnya...hahah) Owh well....it took me ages just to finish writing bout travels...Y? the fact that we were only there for 5 days but there are thousand story story to tell..(ok not thousand la but byk kot....)

Onboarding & arriving
it only took 1 hour and 45 min to reach Ho Chi Minh city airport...good exp taking MAS as always....great food and hospitality....Thank u MAS
The Airport
owh...wut a surprise....tell you what...being at the airport feels like u are at a concert...where all people were just waiting outside with flowers..it was so crowded.....and noisy as they r calling out the name with papers in their hand....

The road
owh they are driving on the left side....kinda weird and SCARY for sure...No wonder they call this town as city of bike...u can see it like everywhere....bikes is the main transportation here...if u have car means u can be considered as rich people...heheh and one thing i found out bout Vietnamese , they like to honk ...you can hear every second if you are on the road.....Bising sgt ok...owh and i guess the line and separator on the road were only for display coz they will make 3 lane become 4 or 5 lane...main mencelah2 jek depa ni...
Shopping time..
Typical mama, she is for sure will book hotel nearby shopping place...(kaki shopping kan...like mother like daughter gitu) so as we reached the lobby...our eyes were drooling to see all the shop..kih kih...as me n my sista were kinda like spotting every shop that we wanted to go right after check in....wuhu....1 place that you cant miss when u in Vietnam is the Ben Thanh Market....owh my...a place that you can find almost everything....from foods...dried or wet, from shoes to clothing...accessories from head to toe... i mean everything....!!! but must warn you all...tempat tu sempat sikit....i mean the lorong was so small...dah la penjual tu asyik tarik2 kan....anyhow...managed to get few things..bought the hat..shirt and few sepit2 rambut and wooden bangle, earing and few gifts...n the price was so cheap..but u must be good in bargain...other wise they will ketuk u balik...heheh.....i think i took us almost 3,4 hours there...but tu pon x habis pusing...hahhaha...mum determined to do re-visiting on our last day...

At night they have this called night market, well most of the stuff were from Ben Thanh market actually....but u can bargain more....n we went there to get some stuff ...hahah...got a very unique bag...i end up buying 3...haha..with differ color and design..am i crazy or wut?? hahaha...
Halal Place
For Muslims people...its kinda hard to look for halal place....well they do have but the price was so cekik darah...but we had no choice...i think we could find a few places...but the only place that we truly feel safe to eat was the kedai makan 4 season...owned by a Kelantanies man who married with Vietnam girl... (or is it the other way??!) the foods definitely delicious ...owh btw...one funny story to tell..on our 2nd night stay...we kinda feels like to tukar selera so we browsed d Internet searching for halal restaurant...n we end up at Singapore restaurant...we were greet by the waiters...n i keep asking is it Halal?..they answer.ed..Yes yes..halal upstairs..we all just followed them....while walking by to go upstairs..we saw pix of foods hanging on the and i spotted...'Frog porridge' ...wut??? tekak dh mule kembang...haha...funny thing papa just said Halal coz he saw the halal logo...and the frog thingy were only dekat bawah...but wasnt it from the same owner or something??? damn...so i decided not to order..i mean tekak pon dh kembang...n only drink mineral water...luckily i have eaten Maggie mee while in hotel...balik hotel...layan nasi dgn sambal...

Chu Chi Tunnel...into a great history of Vietnam war
Went there on our 2nd day...wut should i say bout this trip...great but painful i guess.....y pain? haha..coz of the journey...it was such a long journey....cam nk patah pinggang ku....then we reached there almost lunch time...they showed how Vietnamese people survive during the war....I got the chance to try out their hidden place..a very tiny hole where they hide themselves from enemies...owh my...sgt kecik ok...then we went through the tunnel.....the tunnel once became their hiding place and its connected to other area as well....from their room to small clinic, water tank, kitchen and place for them to make their weapons...so cool as they were like crawling underneath to reach to that place....and then we reach at out last check point and went off back to town...owh another pain journey i have to feel....

Mekong River
Wah..selalu dgr the name dlm buku text kan....so here i am ....Start d journey by taking bus...then we reached at the jetty to take the boat ride...1st stop at the bee farm...we had honey tea for started....then we move to fruit farm...while eating the fruits, we were presented by a group of singer singing traditional song...then we are off to across the Mekong river....we took sampan and have someone to paddle to small boat....well nothing impressive to tell actually as the river look all the same to me...haha......hmm..after lunch ....we were off to back to town...mum somehow decided to have adventure by taking a speed boat ride back....haha..lagi penat..but at least x rasa penat with traffic...owh but i still heard honking sound...OMG even dekat sungai? lawak..!! as we reached the town...we were hungry like hell..4 season here we come again...

Visiting relatives
Me have relatives la here...haha....just found out from papa a few days before leaving to Vietnam that he has nephew live in this city..hmmm....He was assigned to be a manager in Parkson Grand...so sambil menyelam minum air...while traveling got the chance to see relatives kan?

Off boarding
Ok last day before balik KL..nothing much...while waiting to onboard...sempat lagi shopping...hahaha..anyhow great time in Vietnam....but hujan emas di negara org hujan batu di negeri sendiri....off course i want to go back ...to meet my love one...heheh

Rahsia Bistro_KL

There are so many restaurant that I have been, and its cracking my head to write the story as I think my time is limited to tell all of it….but I could not forget my experience dining into this restaurant called Rahsia. Dear brought me there for my 24th birthday. I could not believe that Dear had planned a romantic birthday celebration at Rahsia Restaurant, KL which is located 2 minutes from KLCC. Rahsia is where ethnic charm meets cosmopolitan chic. Housed in 60's bungalow surrounded by greens, the ambiance is invigoratingly peaceful, yet stylish in a private but friendly atmosphere..Well I know he will bring me somewhere and what makes it so sweet was that dear planned it all, from the venue and everything. It was funny at the beginning, as I kept on asking him where're we goin? and he replied the same thing 'RAHSIA'. I never tot it could be a restaurant until we reached the place and then he said 'see kan I ckp Rahsia’ and yeah i saw the 'Rahsia Restaurant' signboard next to the car park. Ceh. Anyway, talking bout the food...it was 'marvellous', starting from the appetizers, main courses and desserts. We started out by ordering appetizer Platter (Rahsia Spring Rolls, Crispy Shrimp Wanton, Tempura Tempeh and Bergedil served with Java Soy Sauce and Shanghai Chili Sauce). For the main course, we ordered something which I have forgot the name…haha..i guess the excited feeling celebrating my besday with my dear. had made me forgot all other things except thanking him again n again for a lovely celebration and plus it was last year kot...so im excuse to forgot the name of the main dishes...(heheh) As I thought the night was almost over, he surprised me with besday song playing in that restaurant and one guy came out with big plate of cup cakes…owh my…what a shock….THANK U SO MUCH Dear!

Ole-Ole Bali....

This story should have been posted last month but due to time constraint…its been kept in draft box quite sometime…(bit busy with work nowadays sigh..)

If you feel to have a good taste of Bali food….it’s worth to experience a variety of Balinese delicacies. The restaurant serves authentic Balinese cuisine and also a small selection of Western food. We went to Ole-Ole Bali for our 3rd year Anniversary. Bit lost on our way there…even its not in GPS.. x ke pelik? or our GPS seems not updated kot... Haha…well I guess using the old method ( by asking people for sure) is the best practice…then he went out and ask 1 bangla security guard and he showed us the way..sek baik la mamat tu cam paham gak soalan....wakaka....finally reached the place and I was bit amaze with the environment. Feels like I am really in Bali…(owh pls bring me there ok dear) the surrounding was bit cozy and fresh....with deemed light and candles..was sgt romantic ok....best place for couple to mkn-mkn

We had our Starter by having Schumi- Schumi (fresh fried squid with mayo sos). Then the main dishes Nasi Campur Ole-Ole (For RM30),…This huge meal includes a great combination of steamed rice, grilled lemongrass prawns, grilled fillet fish, grilled squid, choice of beef rending. Bit of papadom & Sate Lilit (Otak-otak filled with Lemon grass as the stick making the aroma and smells of the food even greater!). Plus lawar, sambal terasi and sambal matah... With Kangkung to balance up the foods… its too much right??

Owh not forget the drinks…..i had a mango shake & he had banana chill....

I extremely luv the place..even it’s a bit costly but its worth to try and you will be having a great experience here….
