Vietnam

Welcome to Vietnam......No word can describe & only pix can tell....haha....(ayat org malas nk memikir sebenarnya...hahah) Owh well....it took me ages just to finish writing bout travels...Y? the fact that we were only there for 5 days but there are thousand story story to tell..(ok not thousand la but byk kot....)

Onboarding & arriving
it only took 1 hour and 45 min to reach Ho Chi Minh city airport...good exp taking MAS as always....great food and hospitality....Thank u MAS
The Airport
owh...wut a surprise....tell you what...being at the airport feels like u are at a concert...where all people were just waiting outside with flowers..it was so crowded.....and noisy as they r calling out the name with papers in their hand....

The road
owh they are driving on the left side....kinda weird and SCARY for sure...No wonder they call this town as city of bike...u can see it like everywhere....bikes is the main transportation here...if u have car means u can be considered as rich people...heheh and one thing i found out bout Vietnamese , they like to honk ...you can hear every second if you are on the road.....Bising sgt ok...owh and i guess the line and separator on the road were only for display coz they will make 3 lane become 4 or 5 lane...main mencelah2 jek depa ni...
Shopping time..
Typical mama, she is for sure will book hotel nearby shopping place...(kaki shopping kan...like mother like daughter gitu) so as we reached the lobby...our eyes were drooling to see all the shop..kih kih...as me n my sista were kinda like spotting every shop that we wanted to go right after check in....wuhu....1 place that you cant miss when u in Vietnam is the Ben Thanh Market....owh my...a place that you can find almost everything....from foods...dried or wet, from shoes to clothing...accessories from head to toe... i mean everything....!!! but must warn you all...tempat tu sempat sikit....i mean the lorong was so small...dah la penjual tu asyik tarik2 kan....anyhow...managed to get few things..bought the hat..shirt and few sepit2 rambut and wooden bangle, earing and few gifts...n the price was so cheap..but u must be good in bargain...other wise they will ketuk u balik...heheh.....i think i took us almost 3,4 hours there...but tu pon x habis pusing...hahhaha...mum determined to do re-visiting on our last day...

At night they have this called night market, well most of the stuff were from Ben Thanh market actually....but u can bargain more....n we went there to get some stuff ...hahah...got a very unique bag...i end up buying 3...haha..with differ color and design..am i crazy or wut?? hahaha...
Halal Place
For Muslims people...its kinda hard to look for halal place....well they do have but the price was so cekik darah...but we had no choice...i think we could find a few places...but the only place that we truly feel safe to eat was the kedai makan 4 season...owned by a Kelantanies man who married with Vietnam girl... (or is it the other way??!) the foods definitely delicious ...owh btw...one funny story to tell..on our 2nd night stay...we kinda feels like to tukar selera so we browsed d Internet searching for halal restaurant...n we end up at Singapore restaurant...we were greet by the waiters...n i keep asking is it Halal?..they answer.ed..Yes yes..halal upstairs..we all just followed them....while walking by to go upstairs..we saw pix of foods hanging on the and i spotted...'Frog porridge' ...wut??? tekak dh mule kembang...haha...funny thing papa just said Halal coz he saw the halal logo...and the frog thingy were only dekat bawah...but wasnt it from the same owner or something??? damn...so i decided not to order..i mean tekak pon dh kembang...n only drink mineral water...luckily i have eaten Maggie mee while in hotel...balik hotel...layan nasi dgn sambal...

Chu Chi Tunnel...into a great history of Vietnam war
Went there on our 2nd day...wut should i say bout this trip...great but painful i guess.....y pain? haha..coz of the journey...it was such a long journey....cam nk patah pinggang ku....then we reached there almost lunch time...they showed how Vietnamese people survive during the war....I got the chance to try out their hidden place..a very tiny hole where they hide themselves from enemies...owh my...sgt kecik ok...then we went through the tunnel.....the tunnel once became their hiding place and its connected to other area as well....from their room to small clinic, water tank, kitchen and place for them to make their weapons...so cool as they were like crawling underneath to reach to that place....and then we reach at out last check point and went off back to town...owh another pain journey i have to feel....

Mekong River
Wah..selalu dgr the name dlm buku text kan....so here i am ....Start d journey by taking bus...then we reached at the jetty to take the boat ride...1st stop at the bee farm...we had honey tea for started....then we move to fruit farm...while eating the fruits, we were presented by a group of singer singing traditional song...then we are off to across the Mekong river....we took sampan and have someone to paddle to small boat....well nothing impressive to tell actually as the river look all the same to me...haha......hmm..after lunch ....we were off to back to town...mum somehow decided to have adventure by taking a speed boat ride back....haha..lagi penat..but at least x rasa penat with traffic...owh but i still heard honking sound...OMG even dekat sungai? lawak..!! as we reached the town...we were hungry like hell..4 season here we come again...

Visiting relatives
Me have relatives la here...haha....just found out from papa a few days before leaving to Vietnam that he has nephew live in this city..hmmm....He was assigned to be a manager in Parkson Grand...so sambil menyelam minum air...while traveling got the chance to see relatives kan?

Off boarding
Ok last day before balik KL..nothing much...while waiting to onboard...sempat lagi shopping...hahaha..anyhow great time in Vietnam....but hujan emas di negara org hujan batu di negeri sendiri....off course i want to go back ...to meet my love one...heheh

-end-
